Star Strike is the only app that shows how to find the star pictures that inspired the myths: Arthur’s Chariot, the Great Bear, lions, unicorns, the awesome Star of Stars. With no fancy gizmos, just your eyes and the power of your mind, re-enter the forgotten world of star art, from which our ancestors created their fabulous stories, sayings and rhymes.
Having a BBQ with friends? Maybe a hot-tub; camping or enjoying family time? This app brings a starry night alive in a manner not known for centuries. Imagine looking up and seeing a dolphin leaping over head, a witch on her broomstick or even Time, itself.

Once seen never forgotten! You will have your favourites, for sure, perhaps the Star of Stars; a Stitch in Time; Arthur’s Chariot; Medusa or even a Mermaid. Whichever it is these realistic pictures personalise the night sky, making the stars fun and easy to learn.

The app’s format is beautifully simple:

Position yourself using the guide to finding North.
From the menu screen select an image that you would like to find.
Follow a step-by-step video that guides you through the stars to find the picture.
Videos can be paused and re-played until you are satisfied that you have really ‘got the picture’. The videos can be downloaded for offline use.
After mastering a few single images why not try the Nursery Rhymes? These can take you all around the sky and are the perfect tools for learning the stars. Far from being nonsense these clever and imaginative rhymes show a cunning use of words and a mental agility that will challenge everyone.
