SVG Design Editor provides a canvas-based editor that allows you to work with multiple design files concurrently. Whether you need to create a new design, open an existing design, or moving design object between different files, the application makes it easy for managing your designs. Each canvas can be set different by its dimension and layout in order to fit the nature of the design

The app supports SVG, AI(Adobe Illustrator), EPS(Encapsulated PostScript) , and DXF(Drawing Exchange Format by AutoCAD) formats. Open, view, and convert AI, EPS, DXF files. Convert these vector-based design formats to: SVG, PDF, JPEG, BMP and WEBP file formats. Place and arrange design elements using multiple layers. Add, delete, or hide layers to make your design versatile and flexible. Copy and paste design elements between layers. SVG Design Editor offers both basic and advanced design objects including Pencil, Path, Text, Line, Square, Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon, and Starburst. The app also comes with a list of free Design Object Packs that will enrich your designs. Customize each design objects or elements using the Properties pane, whether you need to enlarge, shrink, rotate, or flip the object. You can also group a set of objects to form a sub-design which can be moved around or resized in proportion to each other. Easily position design objects by using the Alignment feature (Align Top, Bottom, Left, Right, etc.) and the Arrangement features to stack them in the right order SVG Design Editor provides Design Elements, a feature that opens access to tens of thousands of SVG designs and icons. By using Design Elements, you can elevate your designs to a new level without breaking a sweat. SVG Design Editor is also designed to work as a companion app for Cricut users who are familiar with Cricut Design Space. The application provides a feature to optimize a design file to be exported to Cricut by working around some of the known limitations (of importing external designs) imposed by Cricut, including setting the right DPI value, converting text to path, and optimizing SVG file content for exporting.
